Tiree project steering group

A project has been set up to consider what the potential onshore requirements might be of an offshore wind farm off Tiree.

As the harbour owner and Harbour Authority, CMAL are pleased to contribute to this important exercise

NTM 13/11: Gourock Ferry Terminal, Firth of Clyde - Pier Repair Works

Active  Mariners are advised that CMAL have appointed BAM Nuttall Ltd to carry out pier repair works to the quay walls at Gourock Ferry Terminal, Firth of Clyde. The repair works will commence on Monday 12th September 2011 and are programmed to be complete by mid March 2012.

Non-executive directors welcomed onto our board

Minister for Housing and Transport Keith Brown today announced the appointments of Mark Forrest and Alistair Whyte to the Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd Board. These part-time appointments will be for 3 years and will run from 1 August 2011 to 31 July 2014. These posts are part-time and attract a remuneration of £308 per day for a time commitment of 2/3 days per month.

Port Ellen Pier Reconstruction – Project Update – 03 August 2011

Brodick Pierhead Piles and Fender Repair Works

CMAL has announced that the contract for the main pier fendering and the repair of the piles on the section of Brodick pierhead beneath the old store has been awarded to Gareloch Support Services (GSS).
