Public meetings were held at Ramsay Hall, Port Ellen on 9th Aug 2010, and Templar Art & Leisure Centre, Tarbert on 10th Aug 2010 to update the public on the progress of improvements to Port Ellen and Kennacraig harbours. CMAL are holding public meetings to discuss the upcoming maintenance work on the Linkspans at Tarbert, Lochboisdale & Castlebay ferry terminals. Works will be undertaken around ferry services. The meetings will provide details of the work, and will allow local residents to ask a representative from CMAL and contractor Jack Tighe Ltd any questions.
