Update on Tobermory Harbour incident

31 October 2013

Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd can confirm that an incident occurred on Wednesday 30th October at the slipway at Tobermory Harbour, during planned upgrade works. While a contracted lorry was unloading a JCB excavator, both vehicles entered the water. No one was injured during the incident. The lorry was successfully removed at the scene, but the excavator remained in the water.
