MV Raasay gains a Green Passport

The MV Raasay has become the latest CMAL ship to receive its Green Passport. The ship is the first of the 30 ships serving the Clyde and Hebrides ferry services in the west of Scotland to be put through the auditing process as part of a five year programme.

Work continues to rebuild Largs Pier in Ayrshire

The £6M project to rebuild the historic pier in the popular Ayrshire seaside town is now due for completion by mid August 2009. The reconstruction works are just three weeks behind schedule, primarily due to problems encountered when the contractor, George Leslie Ltd, uncovered Victorian wooden sheet piles in the old pier structure.

A Green First - CMAL's Passport to Environmental Success

CMAL has secured a first for Scotland and the UK with the introduction of Green Passports to our ferry fleet. The Canna has become the first existing ferry in the UK to be awarded its own Green Passport with two more sister ships due to receive their green passports by July.
