Mariners are advised that CMAL have appointed Jack Tighe Ltd to undertake painting of the linkspan at Tarbert Ferry Terminal, Harris. 

The works will commence on Monday 18th June 2012 and are programmed to last 1-week. 

Works consist of painting the underside of the linkspan and are being undertaken predominantly from a pontoon which, dependent upon tidal conditions may be concealed from view.

All works will be undertaken between arrivals of the scheduled ferry services causing no disruption to the service.  

All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Tarbert Ferry Terminal must therefore do so with caution and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly.
