Following an inspection of the linkspan on 23rd April, the harbour and ferry operators have been advised that they can use the linkspan for pedestrians, but not for vehicles at present.
Structural repair plans are being developed by Halcrow to identify the extent of the repairs required to remedy the situation and bring the linkspan back into full operation.

CMAL will continue to work with the Port Operator, CalMac Ferries Ltd, Argyll Ferries Ltd. and Clydelink to co-ordinate services and to reduce any disruption and regret any inconvenience that this has caused passengers.
