NTM 03/11: Cumbrae Slip - Diving inspection of slipway (North end)

Complete  Mariners are advised that Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd (CMAL) have instigated a planned diving inspection of the Cumbrae Slip (Ferry Slip) on Wednesday 20th April 2011 for one day only. Divers will be operating from shore and will operate in hours of daylight only. Mariners are requested to pass at slow speed appropriate to maintain safe passage. Ferry services to and from the slip will operate as normal.

Work continues to rebuild Largs Pier in Ayrshire

The £6M project to rebuild the historic pier in the popular Ayrshire seaside town is now due for completion by mid August 2009. The reconstruction works are just three weeks behind schedule, primarily due to problems encountered when the contractor, George Leslie Ltd, uncovered Victorian wooden sheet piles in the old pier structure.

CMAL introduces new online payment system for Harbour Dues

CMAL’s new online payment system for Harbour Dues at its piers and harbours throughout the West Coast of Scotland has gone live. This means berthing and composite charges can now be paid in advance with a variety of season tickets available. The online system at www.cmassets.co.uk is to help facilitate a new pricing structure for pier and berthing dues which will apply to all CMAL facilities from 1st April 2009.
